ABOUT OUR OWNER. The owner of National Overhead Garage Door Services, Inc. is exceptionally qualified and has nearly sixteen years experience in the garage door business. He began work with Amarr Garage Doors here in Jacksonville, Florida in 1995 where he assembled garage doors from the ground up. For a couple years thereafter he worked as a technician with several other locally owned companies. In 1997, he and a partner, moved to North Carolina and established a highly successful business in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area. After a while, the partnership sold out in order to get in on the ground floor of a nationwide operation (referred hereafter as the “Franchise”) which sold turnkey garage door service companies. For the next 5 years, our owner established garage door companies which he operated until they were “franchise ready” and sold. Companies were established in Austin, Texas; Honolulu Hawaii, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Columbus, Ohio. In 2002 he was selected by the Franchise to establish a training school in Phoenix, Arizona. He built the facility, established the curriculum and taught all the classes. Shortly thereafter the Franchise relocated its headquarters to Jacksonville, Florida. And our owner moved, reestablished and trained. Opportunity knocked and in 2003 he left the franchise to start his own garage door company in Madison, Wisconsin near family and friends. In 2007 he sold the company and moved back to Florida for family considerations.

ABOUT THE COMPANY. National Overhead Garage door Services was established in Jacksonville, Florida in January 2007 and incorporated in January 2008. It is a full service company serving the residential marketplace on the First Coast which includes Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau, and St Johns Counties. Some light commercial work is also within our capabilities. Our primary emphasis is on repairs as opposed to installations in newly constructed housing. Of course, repairs are sometimes not economically feasible. So we can help you select a new door of your choice and specifications and install it for you. Our workforce is highly experienced having worked in all phases of the garage door business. And they have been trained by our owner in installation, repairs, sales, service, and trouble shooting. Our technicians have pretty much seen it all in terms of makes, models, operators, openers, electronics, etc. Yes, it is true that garage doors and openers only work as good or bad as they were initially installed. We use “top of the line” products and parts. We warranty all our work. We are licensed and insured. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
